When looking for teaching material
to suit the needs of our students
we found all that's required
to start a virtual university.

So we decided to go Online
on Ocober 13th, 2000.

When I remember what it was like when we hit
upon the crazy of opening Fachhochschulen
in 1968 and when we are looking ahead to
what learning, teaching, academic life,
life-long and global studying will be like
in another 32 years' time,
then I think the time is ripe for further crazyness.
